This unforgettable celebration brought an Austrian couple’s dream of a destination wedding to life—not in Italy as they had originally imagined, but in the heart of Spain, at the breathtaking El Cigarral de las Mercedes in Toledo. Overlooking the same iconic landscape that once inspired El Greco, the venue offers panoramic views, luxurious accommodations, serene gardens, a pool, and open-air spaces that make it ideal for a multi-day wedding experience.

The four-day celebration began with a vibrant Flamenco fiesta—complete with live flamenco dancers, music, and traditional Spanish energy that welcomed guests into the spirit of the place. The second day offered a chance to explore the charm of Toledo, with its rich history, winding streets, and cultural heritage, before the main event unfolded beneath the trees on day three.

The wedding day was both elegant and full of joy, with a ceremony set in nature followed by a poolside cocktail hour where Everso set the mood with their signature mix of modern and dance music—getting guests on their feet before dinner even began. The dinner space was a feast for the senses: bold, colorful floral installations by Floreale Eventos, bespoke invitations, menus, and wedding design details by the incredible Ceci New York, and a showstopping cake by renowned Parisian cake designer Bastien Blanc-Tailleur.

The celebration continued with a relaxed brunch the following day, followed by an unforgettable pool party that brought everyone together one last time. It was the perfect end to a wedding that blended style, fun, and romance in a setting that felt truly magical. A destination full of soul, where every moment was crafted with love and intention.
As the sun set, dinner was served under the stars. Long tables were beautifully styled with romantic details while the band continued to play into the night, filling the estate with music, laughter, and celebration. The bride, who works in PR for Estée Lauder in Zürich, designed the entire concept herself—every detail reflecting her refined sense of style and her deep connection to the place and its traditions.
