Himani and Mihiri dreamed of a celebration that honors the timeless traditions of Indian culture while embracing the contemporary elegance of an American destination wedding. For them, there was no place more magical than the dramatic cliffs and endless Aegean blue of Santorini. Himani chose the stunning, private island venue, Islet as the location for their 2-day destination celebration.

Their destination wedding story began with the sacred beauty of the Haldi ceremony, filled with vibrant colors, blessings, and the kind of laughter that brings families closer. As the Santorini sunset painted the sky, the celebration transformed into a high-energy Sangeet night — an unforgettable evening of incredible dances, heartfelt performances, and electrifying rhythms that felt cinematic in every way.

The next day brought a truly emotional wedding ceremony. It was honest, touching, and deeply powerful — a moment where two worlds connected not through spectacle, but through love, unity, and heartfelt tradition. And then, when the dhol drummers started playing, everything exploded into pure celebration. The music echoed over the caldera…and the madness began. They danced, they laughed, they lived every second to the absolute fullest — with joy, spontaneity, and zero hesitation. These were not moments staged for the camera, but moments lived for life.

The intense celebration concluded with an elegant gala dinner under dreamy Santorini skies. Emotional speeches, beautiful toasts, touching blessings — and once again, more music and dancing, because when this family celebrates, they do it with their whole heart and soul.

This wedding journey was captured alongside the incredible crew of Hungarian Wedding Award winners Plus Wedding Films — making this international project even more meaningful and inspiring.

Not only was this a gorgeous celebration, but it was also honored with the Best International Project award by the prestigious Hungarian Wedding Award in Budapest, Hungary — a huge recognition celebrating global storytelling in weddings.

We arrived in Santorini with our cameras in hand… but we left feeling like family. The warmth, kindness, and genuine connection we received from Mihir and Himani’s relatives made this celebration even more special. From the first prayer to the last dance, we were embraced and treated not just as suppliers, but as one of their own.

Mihir and Himani — we cannot thank you enough for the love, trust, and unforgettable journey you have given us. Your Indian wedding in Santorini will stay in our hearts forever.
